Long Time no blog! Welcome
Its been a long time since I've blogged. Many things have happened. Our logo has evolved (had to say goodbye to the reggae dude). I now have a team of helpers and some great new products. Its been a brilliant and difficult year, but I'm glad to say STIR IT UP - CARIBBEAN KITCHEN is still here. We've met many people along this road, most giving fantastic support and inspiration. We're organizing our itinerary for this year, so log on to Facebook or the Website to keep up, you know we enjoy every bit of your company. Spring is here.
Its Caribbean Cooking!!
Succinctly, Stir It Up is a mobile Caribbean kitchen in Ireland.
That's right, tasty Caribbean style food anywhere on the Emerald Isle! We offer cookery demonstrations and homemade food, with a distinct Caribbean flavor, for festivals, shows, events and markets, throughout Ireland. We are a proud and constant presence at the Monaghan Farmers Market were we feature sumptuous soups, artisan jams and breads, spicy chutneys, and Caribbean seasonings. Not to mention our divine hot chocolate flavored with a secret herb that's all the buzz at the market. And, last, but not least, is our rustic, oven to table, handbuilt pottery line glazed with deep tropical colors bringing a hint of island views to your kitchen.

Cookery Demonstration
Many thanks to those EmyBelles in Monaghan! Yesterdays demonstration was a huge success in my estimation. Rice 'n peas, stew chicken and fried plantain, sure was tasty. Big shout out to Liz, the scout. I'm looking forward to their next meeting cause I forgot the mango sorbet!
